Tropical Cyclones A Tropical Cyclone is a rapidly rotating storm system characterized by its low pressure.If the "Tropical Cyclone "take place in the Atlantic Ocean or Northeastern Pacific Ocean it will be named as "Hurricane",if it takes place in the Northwestern Pacific Ocean will be named "Typhoon" and it is named "Tropical Cyclone" when it occurs in the South pacific or in the Indian ocean. Each cyclone is named different ,the names that this cyclones recieve were usually names of women but with the pass of the years it was decided that also men's name should be use. Cyclones are formed when a warm air and high humidity levels are over the water.Then the air cools but then this cool air will warm and rise.This form big storm clouds that will start to rotate forming an organized system.If there is enough war water the cycle will continue and it will form an Hurricane. The tropical cyclones had a scale so as to be meassure by its wind speed : -1=119/153kmh -2=154/177kmh -3=178/208kmh -4=209/251kmh -5=252 kmh or more
